I woke up and headed to the City Museum. This place is crazy. Its not a museum per say, but more like a giant playground. Everywhere you look, there is a tunnel that goes into darkness, or a tunnel that turns into a slide. Did I mention a 10 story spiral slide, that ends in a cave? There is a bus that hangs off the roof. It is awesome. I spent a solid 3 and half hours there and only saw a portion of what it has to offer. The whole time I kept saying out loud that this place is crazy…and people were agreeing with me! Go there!

Update: I am still on this journey, we have reached the half way mark. Watch the video to see where I currently am!

I’m on a mission…and that mission is to drive across the country in a mini-coop. I am in mid journey. The video will fill the rest in.

This is how Young Life Jacksonville starts off every year…with the most disgusting event ever. Crud Warz. It is basically a giant food fight and it is nasty. (For the record for current/future employers, I was wearing war paint, and the makeup “artist” thought that would be intimidating.)

If you ever need to buy a book, specifically a used book, I have the place for you. Chamblin Bookmine. Any and every book ever written is there. It is crazy. I got lost in it…twice. You non-Jacksonvillians will need to stop by when you come into town.

Yeah, this was awesome.

You can only love the Ice Cream Man so much…

I went to Atlanta recently and I realized my friends are one of a kind. The first video is my friend Catherine Zickos (now Newton) dancing with her father at her wedding…just watch it, it is not your normal father-daughter dance. The second is my friend Whitney riding a escalator on stationary stairs…just watch.

Here was my night on the 4th. I love this country.

Welcome!
Here at thesammitchell.com, our goal is present life thorugh the eyes of Sam Mitchell. He is your average guy, however he does not have average experiences. Also, it will be mostly presented in video format for two reasons.
1) You don't have to read.
2) Sam doesn't have to write.

Enjoy!
